La prise en charge de l’Hyper-Threading permet à deux threads de s’exécuter simultanément sur chaque cœur – Windows reconnaît 44 cœurs au total sur le Z640, 22 réels et 44 virtuels. Il prend également en charge ‘Turbo Boost’ qui augmente automatiquement la vitesse du processeur en fonction de la charge de travail – donc si une application n’utilise qu’un des 44 cœurs, elle augmentera automatiquement la vitesse du cœur utilisé et éteindra les cœurs inutilisés.La puissance TDP est la consommation d’alimentation de chaque processeur. Certains des processeurs les plus performants consomment jusqu’à 150 W chacun. Nous recommandons un seul processeur hautes performances dans le Z640 compte tenu de la puissance totale de l’alimentation.
