Insulated double-walled box with 64oz of cold packs. Can keep natto cold during very hot summer conditions for ~3 days, or ~6 days in ~72ºF fall conditions. Standard. Double-walled cardboard box with 32oz of coldpacks (for larger boxes) or 24oz of cold packs (for smaller boxes). Keeps natto cold for ~2-3 day transits in moderate ~72ºF fall weather.  Note that if you choose this packaging option, you will only be able to select shipping options with estimated delivery time of three days or less. About order size: While we do permit you to order as few as four nattos, the shipping cost per natto can get very expensive for small orders.  Shipping costs are most efficient when you order 24 nattos or more.  Consider ordering some and sharing with your friends, or freezing some for later use. About natto freshness: When stored continuously at refrigerator temperatures (ideally 5ºC / 40ºF), fresh natto is edible for a month or more.  Fresh natto can safely tolerate room temperatures for a couple of days, but it will ferment and gain a stronger flavor and smell.  Some find this objectionable, and some prefer natto this way. If you live in a place we can’t ship to in 3 days… consider our shelf-stable freeze-dried natto product.  It can be eaten directly or rehydrated for a very tasty traditional natto eating experience, is cheap to ship and doesn’t have to be kept cold.
