KINETIC CONTROL MOVEMENT THERAPIST:FOUNDATION MODULEGAIN FULL KCMT ACCREDITATIONCOURSE DESCRIPTION:This online module represents the first step of the Kinetic Control Movement Therapist (KCMT) journey. The 25 sessions provide a comprehensive outline of the principles and underpinning concepts of the Kinetic Control approach. This course supports both the intensive (The Movement Solution One) and the modular pathway for those wanting to attain KCMT accreditation.Technical Director, Mark Comerford, delivers the underpinning knowledge required for course delegates to be ready to attend Kinetic Control’s two Coordination Efficiency modules, the three Muscle Synergy modules, and the final module (one) from the Masterclass range, required to complete the KCMT journey.COURSE OUTLINE:Course delegates can access all the requisite theory from home. They can start their KCMT journey today and ensure they have a sound appreciation of the material before attending F2F events. Delegates will have more chance to develop the skills of testing and retraining with tutors, as opposed to needing to spend time on lectures within the limited F2F opportunities.Tutors (internal customers) can devote more time to ensuring that delegates can practically apply the required practical skills.WHAT’S INVOLVED:To gain full KCMT accreditation, all components of the KCMT route must be completed (2 x coordination efficiency modules, 3 x muscle synergy modules and 1 x Masterclass) in addition to the 25 sessions of this particular module (KCMT Foundation Module).PROGRAM OUTLINE:Courses delegates gain 12 months access to this content:Session 1: Understanding Movement Health & FunctionSession 2: Movement Coordination StrategiesSession 3: A Movement Health Model of Movement Coordination & EfficiencySession 4: Pain, Recurrence, Function, & PerformanceSession 5: Clinical Decisions and Diagnostic Frameworks of Movement HealthSession 6: Case Review ‘John’ Part 1Session 7: The Influence of Movement RestrictionsSession 8: Physiological Considerations & Recruitment ThresholdSession 9: Proprioception, Alignment & the ‘Neutral Training Region’Session 10: Muscle Functional RolesSession 11: Recruitment Threshold & Muscle FunctionSession 12: Pain, Movement Coordination, & Altered Recruitment SynergiesSession 13: Relationship between Muscle Functional Roles & PainSession 14: Rehab Management Strategies for Movement Coordination & EfficiencySession 15: Testing & Retraining Movement Coordination StrategiesThe Course Schedule is published before advising and registration begin for each module/session and the link www.sportmedlab.com/product-category/courses/ allows you to view all the schedule options that works best for you.
