Description BST Carbon Wheels GPTek are designed by BlackStonerTek with very specific criteria in mind to ensure maximum performance. These include weight, bending stiffness, rotational inertia, and distinctive BST design. BST engineering ensures that our wheels meet and exceed the internationally recognised safety standards, including the TUV No. 287 30 StVZO and the JWL standard, and are compliant with DOT E and ETRTO regulations. The BST Carbon Wheels GPTek front wheel weighs only 3.75 lb. (1.7 kg) and the rear wheel is 5.29 lb. (2.4 kg) (depending on fitment), constructed with specialized carbon fiber specifically selected for enhanced cornering stiffness. The hubs are made using 6000-grade aircraft aluminum; the fasteners are grade 5 titanium; RFID tag traceability throughout its lifespan; and a specialized coating between the tire and rim that improves tire changing routines. The GP TEK wheels are intended for competition or race use only. Available in Glossy or Satin finish or with a tinted lacquer and come standard with stainless steel bearings or optional ceramic bearings.
